Well, MPI204's nearly finished and i enjoyed it. Although i still find blogs hard to keep up with and maintain, i can see the use and enjoyment in them now, and im sure i will continue doing things to mine and posting on my blog. Ive tried really hard to include my Blog, Flickr and Del.icio.us into my normal internetting. Everything I've put onto these sites are of interest to me, and the same aesthetically (although my blog background refused to change no matter what i did and i followed instructions), but i cant speak for others who view them because they may not like the same things or colours as me.
I used my blog more as a place to store things i liked incase i forgot how to find them on their websites. Im not much of a writer (or ver good at it) so although i tried to write posts too, i liked how i was free to show thinks i enjoy in lots of different ways like posting up clips and pictures and links to sites. I changed the colours and font of all the words on by blog so that it looked nicer and more colourful.
Flickr is a really good site how you can post pictures and view other peoples so conveniently. Joining groups and posting to them is also really good, because once you find a group thats interesting to you, you can view hundreds of images straight away. I posted pictures of things i did and pictures on the internet of things like movie posters and background i enjoy. The websites i posted were of ones that i thought were set out nicely and easy to use (aesthetically pleasing). I really like my Flickr site and what ive done with it.
Although i probably didnt use Del.icio.us as much as I could have, i did find it useful to store websites i want to keep going back to. I do find the favorites bar at the top of my internet screen quicker to use, but i like how on delicious there are descriptions and tags. Tags are awesome because when you type in something that you want to look up, heaps of peoples sites will come up with something to do with that, sort of like a search engine thats been filtered to only interesting one that people enjoyed when they found it.
I used to think googling and email was pretty much it, but Ive learnt to do so many new things on the internet, realising just how powerful it really is. I feel like i have a presence on the net now and am more confident using it.

Visitors to blog
On the multimedia blogspot, it used to i have to put a counter on my blog (which i did a while ago) or make a Sitemeter account. i got a bit confused because i wasnt sure if we had to do just one or the other so i signed up to sitemeter anyway. Sitemeter is like a counter that also tells you the kind of people that visit your blog and what times of the day they look at it. Honestly, im not too fussed about who looks and what time they do it, but i signed up the other day and the little button didnt come on and it hasnt said anyones looked at it :( might be because i already have a counter on it... i tried!! So yeah, i guess the visitors to my blog are just me and people in my class.

Technorati
Technorati is a search engine for blogs. you can search blogs and tags and it ranks blogs from around the world.
Its different from google because it searches only in blogs instead of every type of website. when signed in, other peoples blogs can be read without going onto it like an rss feed.
Technorati gives you a rank and authority which are measured by the blogs popularity, how old it is, how many other people link to it, etc. Right now, my rank is 815,820 and my authority is 6.
